For a sophisticated night on the town, walk across the BTS Nana stop and stroll down to the end of Soi 11 where you will find the Fraser Suites building. It’s all the way at the end and around a little bend, but you can’t miss it when you look up. When you come around to the entrance take the elevator up to the rooftop and enter Above Eleven. Here they have great Wine and Tapas with a Peruvian and Japanese influence, along with a beautiful terrace view of Bangkok. The vibe is serene and can be enjoyed with friends, lovers, and even alone.

If you want to venture out a little further, you can hit the Sathorn District. First, take a trip on the BTS Skytrain Silom Line to the Saphan Taksin stop. From there you can walk, motorbike taxi, or tuk-tuk to Zest, a cool little joint with a nice atmosphere, a pool table and Thai pub style food. The owner Ann and the staff are a delight.

After Zest it’s time to hop on over to Smalls for some after meal cocktails. Small’s is a lounge with an amazing looking bar and a low-key New York or Hollywood style lounge feel. With a wooden style frame, the feeling here is amazing, especially when you take in some of the signature Absinthe available. If you really want the low-key vibe head upstairs for drinks on the cozy second-floor lounge.

The Lohas Residences is the most comfortable upscale serviced apartment you’ll find near Bangkok’s Sukhumvit district.
