Lohas Residences is an amazing place. With great facilities and attentive staff, you’ll feel pampered and relaxed. When you are ready to venture out into the city you won’t have to go far from your Sukhumvit serviced apartment.

While enjoying your stay at the relaxing Lohas Residences you can head across the BTS platform to Soi 11 and find Dosa King. This is a 100% Indian vegan restaurant which has great food and a nice atmosphere. The staff are friendly and you’ll leave with a full stomach. If vegan isn’t your style, head down the street to Beer & Bites on the ground floor of Am Plaza. This quaint pub with outdoor seating is still fairly unknown and you’ll likely not have to fight for a seat. However, don’t let that stop you from enjoying the great food and tasty beer menu here for an afternoon session of laughs and good times, best enjoyed with two to four friends.

After lunch, make your way back to Lohas and hit the upscale gym or sit poolside and catch some rays while reading your favorite book or sipping a cold drink.

For dinner make your way up the Sukhumvit BTS line to the Asoke stop. Exit on the same side as Lohas out to Soi 16 and you’ll find the Column Tower and Long Table. Long Table has one extremely long table as the title suggests where patrons sit on their own couches which typically fit four people. The food here pleases both your eyes and your stomach. At Long Table, the carefully crafted cuisine won’t disappoint. You can enjoy your evening and good wine selection while taking in the view over Soi 16 and Sukhumvit Rd. Long Table is located at 48 Column Tower on the 25th floor.

If you want to get out of the city for a day or two you can take a trip to Ayutthaya, the former capital of Thailand. Ayutthaya is the home of some of the most beautiful temples in the world. You can do a one, two, or three-day trip. If cycling is your thing then you'll be impressed with the eco-bike tours. Get out into nature and away from the noise of the city for some fresh air while clearing your mind. During the tour you'll visit the Elephant Kraal Pavilion, after the bike trail you’ll board the Thanatharee, a teak wooden boat for a great Thai style lunch, before heading back out on the trail to peruse more of the temples.
