Do you like to cook your own meals? Perhaps you like to stay in on occasion during your vacation and enjoy a nice romantic dinner with your significant other? Or, maybe you want to have a meal before you head out for the night and save a bit of cash? All of that is possible when you stay at Lohas Residences.

When you book a room at our extended stay hotel in Bangkok's Sukhumvit area, you’ll be able to do all of that anytime you want. Each room at Lohas is equipped with a kitchen and dining area. There is a hot plate to heat up an elegant dish and a refrigerator to store any leftovers for the next day.

Below are some ideas to get your taste buds chomping when you stay at Lohas.

Head down to Villa Supermarket on Sukhumvit soi 2 and you can pick up some chicken to slice up and pan sear or saute’. You’ll also want to grab some greens for a salad. Any kind of greens will do. (Red Leaf Lettuce is great.) Then grab some mushrooms and small potatoes and you’re ready to go. You’ll also want to pick up some olive oil, vinegar, garlic, black pepper, butter, and any kind of herb seasoning that you fancy. Oh and don't forget the wine.

When you arrive back at Lohas Residences, take out the saute’ or frying pan and another skillet from the cupboard, and oil them up with some heat. First, slice and season the chicken to your liking and throw it in the pan at medium heat. After the chicken has been on for about 15 minutes it’s time to add the mushrooms and potatoes to the other skillet. Add the ground pepper, garlic, and seasoning with a touch of butter into the skillet and heat at low to medium.

At this point, you should open the wine. Then make sure you turn the chicken appropriately and cook evenly until no pink is showing. You’ll also want to cook the potatoes until they are a tad crispy and the mushrooms should be firm but not crunchy. While you’re doing this prepare the salad with olive oil, vinegar, and pepper.

When both dishes are ready remove from the heat and toss the salad. Serve and enjoy.
